Singer/songwriter

Known for:   Morgan Cole Wallen is an American country music singer, songwriter, and performer recognized as one of the most influential and commercially successful country artists of his generation. Born on May 13, 1993, in Sneedville, Tennessee, Wallen grew up surrounded by music. His father was a pastor, and Morgan was exposed early to gospel, rock, and classic country influences—sounds that would later shape his distinct style. Wallen began playing instruments at a young age; he studied classical violin, piano, and guitar. In his teens, he leaned toward baseball and was considered talented enough for potential collegiate opportunities. However, an injury ended his baseball aspirations, pushing him back toward music—a turning point that would define his career. Early Career & Rise (2014–2017) Morgan’s public breakthrough came in 2014 when he auditioned for Season 6 of The Voice. Although he didn’t win, the show gave him national exposure and brought him into contact with producers who saw his potential. After the show, he moved to Nashville and signed with Panacea Records, where he released his first EP, Stand Alone, in 2015. By 2016, Wallen signed with Big Loud Records, a major move that accelerated his career trajectory. His debut singles, including “The Way I Talk”, quickly introduced audiences to his unique sound—gritty, emotional, and mixed with a modern country-rock edge.
